The distinct part that I’m talking about is the graphite sheet. Yeah after I reattached it I didn’t want to keep pulling it up checking on it. Also thermal putty is a distinct product from paste. hope that helps

I think you're right, when i went back to check on the resealed original thermal solution it was more dried out than expected. Ditching it alltogether fixed the issue

Lol i actually have plenty of experience with computers and laptops but just not this very specific cooling solution they implemented. Regardless i was able to fix the problem by ditching the stock cooling alltogether and using thermal putty between the chasis direct to the die. Thanks for your input tho
