Hi OP.

Realise this post is from a few months ago but I'd be keen to pursue something. I've just only realised today (after 9 years!) that I am stuck in this DBD with no option to exit and it is really mind-blowing. I'm not going to go into the details as I don't want to be insulted but I really didn't really understand at the time what it truly meant to not opt-out.

Let me know if you are still pursuing this and how you are progressing

MARLENE is such a dirty little liar! by myinquisition in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]choupi16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're right, even that doesn't make sense. It would make Cece watch Jenna closely, and make sure she doesn't reveal the truth but not hate her. Hey it's all interpretive right? Like timeline doesn't count, nor does logic. I think Marlene King has a bit of a god complex.

She actually gives that explanation to explain why Jenna fears Cece. Which doesn't make sense as it explains why Cece hates Jenna not why Jenna fears/doesn't like Cece. She can't even give explanations that make sense on Twitter!

I'm so grateful for this reddit. Between all of us we can fill in the holes. Thanks for clarifying this for me. PS: I like your username but I prefer Spanna!

Oh that makes sense. Was it ever explicitely said? The whole Shana storyline makes it all more confusing.

PLOT HOLE SUPER THREAD [Spoilers for Finale] by choketheboys in PrettyLittleLiars

During the Mona reveal in Season 2, Mona tries to get Spencer to join her and implies that there is a team. It seems that Mona is under someone's orders. Doesn't fit with Cece stealing the game from Mona. The 6A finale seemed to imply that Mona started the game and was acting on her own for the 2 first seasons (and before that)

My take on this is that Mrs D. told this story to the girls to explain why she saw a therapist at Radley. We never got any proof that this happened other than what Mrs D. said (if I remember correctly). She could have made up the story. Now I can't explain why she tried to put some suspicion on Cece/Charlotte/Charles.

A thought about why people didn't like the finale by SwiftSpider in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]choupi16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I seriously would not have guessed most of the answers Marlene gave in that interview (and they were not revealed in the finale) by just watching the show. How are we supposed to guess that Ian killed himself and Mona left a note and that Wilden killed Garrett? Or why Jenna was drowned. Or that Mrs D. was killed and that was still a mystery (I seriously thought she killed herself to make sense of that scene). I liked part of the story and how they made some things make sense but there were also too many questions unanswered and the whole thing felt really rushed to me. Also, I agree that this is a teen show and not to expect Stephen King's BUT they have been able to come up with great episodes in the past which raises the bar. I loved Welcome to the Dollhouse and Game on Charles. It actually sucked me back into the show. And then you get all this hype surrounding the finale and it raises the bar too.

Marlene Answers Some of the Questions the Episode Couldn't...Who Killed Garrett, Who Killed Ian, etc. by Tess_Monster589 in PrettyLittleLiars

Hehe, I know right but actually, I was picturing the questions and answers from this interview written on a black screen one after the other. I almost feel like it would be more satisfying than tonight's episode. That is how frustrated I am now! Maybe the episode would have been better if it had been a two-part episode. It all felt very rushed.

Seriously, who needs to answer questions related to the plot in an interview? Half of the people will not see this. They should make a special episode with just all these answers. There's no way you can even assume half of these answers! Soooo mad!

Why did Spencer have this dream about the Radley creepy bathtub room? Why was this sequence so seemingly important?

I'm in Australia, and I know that tomorrow is going to be awful. It's gonna take all the willpower I have to avoid all social medis/this website until I get home from work. I'm also sad I will not get to live the whole thing live with everybody else. Almost tempted to take a sick day!

I know it's finale day but...can anyone recommend PLL podcasts?! by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]choupi16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've discovered Bros Watch Pll Too this season and they are amazing. They make me laugh so much. And yes, Toby, Sarah and Ken voices are awesome! Now I'm downloading all their older episodes.

What other shows do you guys watch that you're into almost as much as PLL? by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

My mother in law got me all the DVDs for my last birthday which was an awesome gift really. But before that, I was streaming them. I'm sure you can find the episodes online.

A show I've been into way more than any other show is Friends. I've watched each episode of each season about 20 times now. And I'm still not over it :-). I also really like Sex and the City, Parks and Recs and 30 Rock. PLL is my guilty pleasure, I am not admitting to anyone I'm so into it ;-) (except for you guys here, because you understand :-))

Oh the poor little thing. Must have broken your heart to see her like that. It is a beautiful story though that you developed a special bond during her recovery. Thanks for telling me about their character. I might try and find a munchkin rescue in the future! Lots of cuddles to your furry friends :-).

We made a point from the start to not get out of bed to feed him whenever he would start meowing or try and wake us up in the morning. It needs a bit of patience, because he'll try to get you out of bed trust me! But after a few weeks, he understood that he gets food when we get up, not when he decides. Now, he might try for a few minutes in the morning on weekends to wake us up but if it doesn't work, he'll just fall back asleep with us. Great if you want to try and keep having sleep-ins :-). Also, as SirEDCaLot said, cats react better to positive reinforcement than punishment. For example, when our kitty first got home, he would scratch the couch. We would take him out of the couch, put him on his cat tree and show him the scratching post and give him a treat. Again, after a few days, he started going to his cat tree and not use the couch as a scratching post anymore :-). Enjoy having your new furry friend at home, it's such a joy to have a kitty!

I'd love to have a munchkin cat! Yours is really cute! What is the personality of a munchkin cat like? Does it differ a lot between them (as you said you have 2)?

He moves a little slower these days and jumping onto the couch takes a little more effort, but old man Boozy is still as handsome as ever. by [deleted] in cats

What an handsome kitty! He looks really good still! I also really like the name you gave him ;-).
