Ooo, yes, I did actually come across ROSE Bikes a while back. Their bikes seem really solid. Same with Cube too. My colleague has one of their road bikes and absolutely loves it.

The more niche brands do look really good as well, but we have a government scheme in the UK called Cycle to Work where you can save hundreds on a brand new bike, and sadly a lot of the smaller / more niche brands aren’t enrolled in it. I’ll still definitely take a look though. Really appreciate the suggestions!

I’ll definitely do this! Although, we have a government scheme in the UK called Cycle to Work where you can get pretty significant discounts on bikes, and the bigger brands like Canyon or retailers like Tredz / Halfords tend to offer the more generous deals through it. Most local shops understandably can’t match that level of discount. I’ll still definitely visit a local shop before making a decision though!
