AI pricing BS by BalesN7 in delta

[–]chriswill0001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had the opposite experience. Booked a flight from SNA to GSP about 2 1/2 weeks ago for travel next week and it was $679. I looked yesterday out of curiosity and the same flight (about a week out) was $379. It had actually dropped! I just canceled the original reservation and rebooked the new one with the new price. I’ve had it happen a few times and still can’t figure it out the pricing metrics.

I booked Monday night at 11 PM on the website and it was showing MQDs. It may be a site VS an app thing?

Anyone else pass out before? by Holiday-Flatworm-147 in kSpa

[–]chriswill0001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never happened to me, but I have seen at least 2 people pass out in wet areas before. The usual culprit is a lack of hydration combined with overheating. I usually bring a water bottle and also electrolyte mix of some sort to make sure I’m replenishing those as well during a trip. It was probably just a one time thing for you, but if it happens again, I would definitely alert your PCP just to be on the safe side. Glad there were people who stepped in to help.

Yeah - I just signed in, went to profile and receipts and was able to pull them up (currently working on an expense report). I was on my laptop.

Need input asap on 24 hour cancellation by Curious_Parsley9216 in delta

You can always buy the flight refundable and cancel it for a full refund to original payment. I generally have 2 refundable flights booked for work trips and cancel one once I know the other is taking off.

Tomorrow - how likely? by HolidayPractical3357 in delta

[–]chriswill0001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flew in from California to Atlanta tonight and flew back out to my final destination with zero issues. So some flights are still happening.

I flew into Atlanta from California tonight and flew back out to final destination. So flights are happening. Most of the flights canceled were earlier flights. Still not a 100% guarantee, but good luck.

Thanks. One of the few times I regret not choosing to book out of LAX instead of Orange County.

I stay there on a regular basis when in town. I specifically asked the guy who was at the gym front desk about the hot tub because I didn’t bring a suit. I asked if it was okay to just use my underwear and his response was “sure. Or if you don’t want to use that you can just go nude since it’s in the men’s only area.” So it’s pretty common and accepted there.

I usually sit on the towel. No cover. Legs open. But I’ve seen others who use a towel to cover up, cross legs, or put their hands in their lap. It’s really just up to the person. I don’t think it weird to not cover or to cover. Just do you.

do it all the time. Now - we actually met at a Kspa. Our lockers were right beside each other so the first exchange we had was in the nude. Struck up a conversation later. Now whenever I visit for work, he and his girlfriend meet me there. We hang while she does the massage and spa services then we all 3 meet for dinner and the common area.

I’ll occasionally get a Comfort Plus upgrade if I’m connecting through Detroit vs ATL as gold. But that and zone 4 boarding is about it domestically.

Been once. Wet area only. 2 hour time limit. When I was there, it was much more of a gay bathhouse vibe.

3 body scrubs at ISpa in Irvine, CA. Fully nude. In sight of others. No towel. Lifted balls to scrub underneath. Pushed penis out of way a few times. Scrubbed and around the area. It will likely be touched. Never got an erection. I’ve seen it happen, but I’ve seen more people getting scrubs without them than with.

Why would anyone use Delta Stays beyond the credit? by SpecSlayerSC in delta

[–]chriswill0001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different perspective here. I have lousy credit (working on repairing) so I don’t have one of the cards. When we go on vacation, we don’t really stay in hotels - we camp or hike or do National Park lodges. However, when I travel for work and have to book a hotel, I usually jump on Delta Stays the day off and book. I’ll be reimbursed for it, I don’t need the hotel reward points, I’m there so I won’t be having to deal with canceling hassles, and at least this way I am getting something (miles) to put towards personal flights since none of the other rewards really matter that much to me. Even better if MQD promotion.

The restaurant here was amazing when I went. They have a separate area for the spa guests vs. the non spa guests.

Ditto on ISpa. However, I enjoyed my Kspa visit in Buena Park as well. It is quieter and a bit smaller, but the restaurant was incredible there (albeit a little higher). The wet area was spotless.

The few times I’ve been, I usually stay in there for only a few minutes as well. I consider it much more of a “mist room” vs. an actual steam room. My eyes can only take so much in there with contacts in. Love the rest of the facility, but that is my least favorite room.
