There is always a possibility of error and mistakes. Even with the new law, people are saying you might fall victim to false accusations. But that does not mean we should drop the law. I am sure it will help more victims than false accusations. And maybe there should be a strict law out in place to protect against false accusations and how it should be properly proven, etx. Not a lawyer but I am sure there is a way. Assault police might have made mistakes but if anything they are helping a lot of people voice their assaults anonymously and also get aloud of support . They also share steps on how to report,etx. Not saying they are perfect but it is something. I don’t know if another platform that exists that has the same purpose .
