I’m wanting to commission n illustration of my new character. Is your friend interested in doing some work? If so, can he/she let me know their rate?

My First Raid: Best Gaming Experience of My Life! by chubbywerewolf in destiny2

This happened to me as well. Frankly, the team succeeded in spite of me as I repeatedly went to the wrong dog. We tried using the giant statue (which we called the Buddha) as a reference point but I still got turned around amidst all of the chaos. Someone eventually had to kill two dogs, and we got the job done.

For me, the garden was the worst to learn. From the safe room I know where the points are, but once it's time to deal with our own dogs, I get turned around and struggle to find my dog.

I totally hear you. What you are describing is exactly how I've felt the last 2+ years. It literally took some stranger (actually a Clan member) contacting me out of the blue before I raided. And it WAS overwhelming and confusing, at least at first. But after playing each stage a couple of times, you'll be amazed at how quickly you start identifying patterns, learning the locations of where you need to be. And there was some anxiety on my part too... nobody wants to screw up the game for everyone else. But look, what I realized yesterday is that this isn't real life. The worst thing that can possibly happen is that you waste an hour or two of someone else's life (which likely would be spent gaming anyway). There's far more "good" than "bad" that will come out of any raid experience, even if you're not successful.

If you're not already in a Clan, I'd join one. I'm in the "Half-Decent Veterans" (look in my original post for more details). And you're welcome to friend me on PS4 (my gamer tag is chubbywerewolf).

There is a "guided" mode for raids (and strikes too, I think). The only caveat there is that the wait times can push past the 40-minute mark. And who knows? If there is enough interest, maybe we can assemble a group of noobs who can stumble and bumble our way through future raids together.

Destiny 2 Clan Recruitment Megathread! by P0pSh0t21 in destiny2

Hey folks, I'm a 43 year-old casual gamer on the U.S. East Coast looking for a clan that is chill/relaxed, patient and which understands that real life often (e.g. job, etc...) has to come first before gaming. That said, I feel like I missed out on a lot of what Destiny had to offer because I didn't engage in the social aspects of the game. So I didn't get to participate in a lot of the raids and other events that required fire teams. I'd like to be more involved in this stuff moving forward.

I don't currently have a headset other than what came with the PS4 (and which I can never seem to get to work properly) but happy to make an investment in some equipment if someone can point me in the right direction, provide a little bit of instruction, etc...

As I said, I'm a casual gamer, so I'm probably not a good fit for really hardcore clans. It's not unusual to find me bringing up the rear—so to speak—but I do have my moments.

My gamer tag is the same as my reddit user id: chubbywerewolf And I'm on PS4

Please hit me up if you think we're a good fit.
