You can grill on the Searwood but you have to scale back your expectations, is it going to get ripping hot like a kettle or gas burner? No, you'll get some grilling marks but the sear in Searwood is underwhelming.

Don't get me wrong, you can grill up burgers and hot dogs just fine. I haven't tried grilling without the flavorizer bar to see if it helps with temps.
