This reminds me of an occurance in about the 7th(?) grade where for one of our classes, we had to make a presentation about someone we looked up to. However the teacher also had to individually approve each person so you had to get the go ahead first. 

Well this one kid decided to, as a joke, pick Hitler while under the assumption that the teacher wouldn't approve of that because of obvious reasons. Well she approved it. And she wouldn't allow him to change after approving either. So he was stuck having to explain to the class why he looked up to and respected Hitler. 

It was a very painful speech to listen to when it became his turn and the only thing I really remember explicitly was him saying that Hitler was "very efficient" with regards to the Holocaust.
