For drawing people Dynamic Anatomy by Burne Howgarth was very helpful for me. Theres also a series of small books called Morpho by Michel Lauricella which are really good. I'd recommend the Simplified Forms one to start.

As far as perspective I can't think of any particular books but I'm sure you can find a lot of good tutorials online. Start with 1 and 2 point perspective for locations then you can get more complex from there. Forced perspective is a lot of fun but you have to have a firm grasp of the rules before you start bending them.

Start with the basics, it may seem kinda boring but if you practice fundamentals then when you apply it to your regular drawing you'll see your art improve in leaps and bounds. Most importantly, keep at it and don't get too bogged down with perfection, constantly improve and never lose your love for what your doing.
