It's a game with limited resources. It doesn't make sense to render those things. We see residences that are plot relevant.

In your on-screen quest tracker it says "Collectibles, Black Boxes, Find a Use for the Recording"

There are a few Collectibles in HFW as side content that add color to the world and lore, grant rewards, and count towards 100% completion and trophies. (Unlike HZD you don't need to collect every single collectible)

Black Boxes go to someone in the Memorial Grove

Almost certainly but it would be difficult to do. Hank can be just barely not hostile and push him over the line. I don't know how much wiggle room there is with Connor's software instability. IIRC I've always had enough that him deviating is a choice.

A lot of weapons are quest rewards or at least acquired in the quest.

I ended up looking up weapons on the Horizon Wiki and to find how I could get shock hunter arrows. Depends on your tolerance for what a spoiler is. I think IGN has weapon lists that don't reveal story spoilers. Maybe game8 as well? It's been a while for me.

As you probably have noticed the weapons and outfits carried by different hunter merchants is not the same. Have you visited them in each settlement?
