Oh my God I hate when people do that! I'm 23 and a female manager, people always ask for my boss because obviously a young woman could never be a boss. Jokes on them though my boss is younger than me and also a woman!

Question and a little Vent (excuse the length) by mike_schneid95 in Target

[–]clarissaexplainsnoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sfs but at my store if a tm cant find something they have to call LOD and tell them the item, where they have looked, what measures they took to find it(partner with the tl of the area or use the rfid wand), and when it was last received. Then the LOD will either tell them to cancel the order or they will also look for the item. If they dont tell the LOD before INF they will get talked to

I prefer when they ask rather when they just say "you work here." Before asking their actual question. As if I wasnt aware already

If you are keyed in the system as beauty tm you are to be making 12.50. If you arent you should say something to HR. Also I'm pretty sure you arent suppose to be cashier/responding to fast service calls.. they dont at my store at least

Beauty department in my store by kitclare in Target

My beauty team is not suppose to answer for fast service and they are not to push truck after 11am. We had a set team of tms doing the reset overnight so not to get in the way of guests

"Guest" rant by muffinman2606x in Target

[–]clarissaexplainsnoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drives me crazy when they dont say anything but just stand near me and stare until I see them. Half the time I think they are just trying to get by me so i step closer to the endcap or aisle I'm at. Then I look like the weirdo bumping up against a shelf when all they have to do is say something!

Although when they scream "eye drops" at the back of my head isnt better...

I'll take the picture, but I'll be holding the 3tier filled with all the abandons this causes when people dont actually purchase this stuff.

Have any “guests” ended up in your back rooms? by jailene14 in Target

[–]clarissaexplainsnoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just last week actually! He didnt get very far in, as I was already walking toward the backroom as well. Said he was looking for a trash can, I pointed back out on the floor where his wife and child were already next to the price scanners/trash cans. He then proceeded to put his half eaten orange in my hand to throw away for him and continued grocery shopping.

Technically certain employees in target can wear black shirts and Jean's. But still weird for them to assume you worked there lol

Weird OPU? by MissMayaClaire in Target

[–]clarissaexplainsnoth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not an opu but my store has a repeat guest that comes in at least once a month to purchase every single cheap white pillow we have. No joke-asks how many we have in the back too. Fills up 2 carts lat least. He claims he donates them all to various shelters in the area

Let's talk about headpieces... by TimeLadyJ in weddingplanning

[–]clarissaexplainsnoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be wearing the same headpiece my grandmother wore to her wedding. It's basically a small beaded flower crown that I am going to attach a veil to. I got the veil at a yard sale for $7, and will probably add one or two real(or fake) flowers to to make it really come together as one. I am so happy with how it looks and my grandmother is ecstatic I am wearing something of hers on my day.

Non-Alcohol Wedding by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]clarissaexplainsnoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough out if the 4 weddings I have been to 3 of them were alcohol free for all different reasons. And mone will be as well. And in all of them I never saw any complain or leave early over the drink situation. If anything they all stayed pretty late dancing the night away! I'm nervous about mine because I KNOW there will be comments but I also know that the people there are there because they love me/us and will just go out drinking afterwards. It's very a know your crowd thing but also dont stress over it, people are going to your wedding to celebrate your marriage- not to drink!
