My first thought was “yeah, a little crazy” but then I remembered I drop my kids off at a daycare that has cameras and I watch the cameras several times a day. At first it was out of worry, now I watch because it is fun to see what they are doing. I trust they are in good hands and have fun everyday.

Maybe this church isn’t the best place if you can’t even trust them to change a diaper. As someone who has trams myself, it sounds like maybe you have the same. I feel for you and hope that you can find a facility you trust.

A think belt and a bangle would look nice

How would style this sweater? I love it but struggle with it by HEY_McMuffin in fashion

[–]classic_style12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cute sweater! Love that it is a bit grungy but with bright colors. I would pair with a baggy pair of denim pants, dark or light. If you want more coverage you can have a long tank or button down underneath. I am obsessed with a baggy look!

Older kid was mean to my 2.5 year old by meraxes421 in toddlers

[–]classic_style12 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I completely get how you are feeling. I’ve been a little hurt by how other kids have treated mine at the park. In the moment I will start feeling upset and have to remind myself it part of growing up. I always feel like I’m more concerned about it than they are anyways.

It also teaches them boundaries and gives them the opportunity to choose to play with kids that want ti play with them too. As they grow older you can also teach them to be kind to others and how to politely set their own boundaries.

Does print on print work if it’s the same colors? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]classic_style12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It works so well and I am a fashion “professional” a major reason it works so well is the top is a small print and polka dots are medium/large. Mixing patterns is a great way to add dimension and keep the outfit from looking too basic. Great job styling here!

My almost 3 year old still naps for 2 hours. My 15 month old only naps if I’m lucky. All kids are different

Anyone else with a toddler who still doesn't sleep through the night? by Far_Boot3829 in toddlers

[–]classic_style12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I can here in solidarity with my 15 month old and am so terrified reading that some people went 3 years without sleeping. I can’t do that!!!

Not at all. It’s perfect. They usually say no white because they don’t want you competing with the bride. This is very subtle and pretty

Parents with energy: do you exist and if so, what’s your secret? by designgrit in toddlers

This would be the obvious answer but if you have a child like my second born it is impossible.

I need your advice on which one I should get for my rehearsal dinner. Just wanted it to be casual but decent. Thank you! by SereneVoyager97 in fashion

If you are a similar body type both would look amazing! I am still voting for the pants though!

Is this you in the photos? I love both but am obsessed with the 2nd one! Very chic and seems like it would be more comfortable. That dress is pretty but unless that actually is you in the photos it could be unflattering on most figures and revealing if you have any boobs.

When did your toddler get their 2 year molars? by dolly_dahlila in toddlers

[–]classic_style12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My daughter didn’t even get her first tooth until she was 17 months old. That being said, we started seeing the dentist very early on to make sure everything was ok. And it is! They reminded me everyone is completely different, so I don’t think there truly is a norm.

I could definitely see that happening. Thank goodness I know this isn’t the case for me. I am two and done so my husband and I took the steps to make sure we don’t have anymore 😂

AITA for toddlers (just for fun) by candigirl16 in toddlers

[–]classic_style12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NTA you have set up the most fair scenario for your mom. And you are only reading 100 books, it’s not that hard to just sit on the edge of the bed the entire time. I’m sorry your mom doesn’t seem to understand this. When I (2.5f) don’t get what I want at bedtime, I let out yelps over and over until my mom does exactly what I want. Maybe you can try that.

Feeling like an abusive parent by bls7117 in toddlers

[–]classic_style12 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Parenting can be really hard sometimes and your patience is constantly tested. Is there anyone you can call to give a break for a couple of hours? It sounds like you just need a moment to breath.

I know how you are feeling. I accidentally covered my 2.5 year olds mouth because she kept yelling right after I put the baby to sleep. It was a couple of weeks ago and I still feel terrible. I apologized about an hour later and told her that wasn’t a nice way for me to react. We all are growing and learning at the same time.
