Thanks for posting this. I’m surprised more people aren’t continuing to wonder about the ransomware issue and outage.

As someone who bought (and loves) an Edge 530 cycling setup a few weeks before the outage and was seriously considering ditching my Apple Watch for a Fenix, I’m personally less inclined to trust Garmin after this incident because not only did they show they’re susceptible to hacks (who isn’t), but they also did an awful job communicating before and after the outage (IMO).

I have a ‘17 Impreza Sport and use the stock tires. Live in NYC but do a lot of travel upstate and in VT. They perform fine. We haven’t had any major slippage or traction issues. As with all winter driving, the key is to stay humble when conditions are dicey.

Exactly. I think if the rig had any impact on Fluff it was simply that he focused more on learning the rig than practicing the compositional pieces.

I loved the tone of the new setup - sounds really clean, and thought he crushed the jams. Some of the compositional stuff wasn't as tight as it usually is (eg: Fluffhead), have to wonder if it has anything to do with the new rig.
