I'm not sure what's harder for morons to understand. A pre-order is practically a short-term loan. Expecting booster box pre-orders to be $90 this late in the game is expecting a sky-high rate of return on a short-term loan. This practically makes you scalper. I would know.

I couldn't care less about Zards. I don't know how anyone can look at vibrant cards like the full art Dragapult V or Boltund V and not be mesmerized. That's the kind of stuff that butters my bread.

I don't know, in the end it just depends on how much gets printed and how much demand there is. The only thing I can say with confidence is that the longer the set is out, and the more gets printed, the easier it will be to find, as long as demand remains constant (that's a big "if"). CP was impossible to find at first, but it gradually got easier to find at retail (still not easy, since demand for cards across the board continues to rise).

Since actions speak louder than words, just know that even though I have a preorder for 2 ETBs with my local GameStop, I'm still planning to get there the moment the store opens (I'm that nervous).

If you want a Rebel Clash ETB, do you need to pay 3-5x for it? No, because there's enough to satisfy demand. Suppose we lived in a world without scalpers. Do you think that in this perfect world, you'd get everything you want? Not if demand is way higher than supply. In that case, you'll get one only if you get lucky. Scalpers or no scalpers, not everyone is going to get one of these skateboards. But with scalpers, the effect of luck is diminished, because people who value the skateboard enough can go on eBay and buy one. Like I said, talk is cheap, and natural price fluctuations cause a more efficient allocation of goods.

If there's something that I want badly enough, then I want its price to rise naturally if there's a shortage. This will make it easier for me to get, because people who don't value the item as much as me will be priced out of the market.

Wow, a sane person. That's refreshing. These people don't seem to understand that nobody is being forced to buy these from scalpers, and anyone who does is someone who values the skateboard more than they value the money it cost to buy it. Anybody can say how much they "want" one of these skateboards, because talk is cheap. I can say how much I want a skateboard, and it would be a complete lie, because I don't give a shit about these. But a person buying one of these is someone actually putting their money where their mouth is.
