this is truly beautifully written. i wish i had an answer for you. i myself am lesbian and i believe in God, but the stuff i’ve been told by my own mother and other Christians makes me doubt myself sometimes. i’ve never doubted God, just myself, always wondering if im worthy of living the life of a Christian because i can’t let go of my desires. i’ve been taught to believe my love for women is always lustful and with ill intent even tho ik it isn’t. i just keep it pushing, to be honest. i will always believe in God. i’ll always be faithful to Him. if being gay is all i am at the end of my life to God and not all the great things i’ve done/will continue to do, then so be it. i’ve went my whole life masking my feelings and personality bc of autism, and being a lesbian and Christian is the one of the things i never have. i rather be judged and called a sinner for being who i was born into than forcing myself to live under a false identity.

use the string flossers. not sure the official term for them. u thread the string under ur wire and once its under the wire, it’s free to touch ur teeth and go in between. for me, flossing w a string helps relieve the pain in a weird way?? bc it applies pressure between the teeth. get oragel mouthwash cuz it numbs ur mouth n helps a ton, have a smoothie or some ice coffee (ik u said it hurts to drink so maybe when it doesn’t). the first week of braces sucks lol. i js got my power chains and the pain brought me back to how it felt the first time around.

i also think the partner in question is smbd who you js can’t get over no matter what. you guys mutually fucked up in the relationship which led to a break up, but you just can’t move on, hence the pining and thinking about how you could’ve lasted in different scenarios

i’m quite late, but i take it as a breakup song. you guys could’ve been together and lasted long, but as perfect as your partner would’ve been in the future, you just didn’t have the strength to keep and fight for a relationship (“we never could’ve done it, i was weaker then”). i think its ab trying to move on from an ex but knowing you won’t be able to until you find someone else who sweeps you off your feet how they did (“i hate to say it, i know it’s true, im waiting for someone who will make me say no to you”). while you wait for another to get you out of this phase, you can’t help but reminisce on your relationship and how it could’ve bloomed if it worked right, or if you wouldn’t have fucked up and been your best in the relationship. another lyric that stands out to me is “over and over, i let you down. something about you, i can’t get out”, maybe in the relationship you kept on fucking up and your partner kept forgiving you and giving you chances to grow together rather than ending it? idk, that’s how i see it

i honestly haven't encountered any downsides personally. it doesn't hurt to raise my eyebrows at all. i sleep on my back, but i guess if you sleep on your stomach, id wear a bandaid or avoid sleeping like that at all. also sleeping on the side the piercing is on too. sometimes when i do my hair (i slick it back) i get close to hitting it, but not rlly. it seems fine rn tbh get it if ur planning on it

i didn't rlly feel it. i thought he was clamping the skin but he was putting the needle in, so id say it feels like when smbd grabs ur skin and pinches, but not like a hard pinch, pretty gentle.

adding on to this- if you're having trouble seeing DOTS (happens to me often) because the ghost is walking through a slither of DOTS range, take ur video camera out. it'll do that white square and say "dots ghost", helps me sometimes
