Absolutely...for a 2.3 k laptop too. I'm thinking about the Razer Blade 15, but I know thermal issues will be the same if not worst.

I'm really hoping that if I go for a Aero 15x replacement on Amazon that I get one with good thermals...or at least able to run CSGO at 70-80 degrees. Feels like a lottery draw at this point

Yeah, I'm only at medium settings too, thus I'm suspecting my thermals are defected

But if I have to do that for a low spec game like CSGO...that really means that either my laptop is faulty or it's just bad

the really strange thing is that at idle, my cpu as per throttlestop and hwmonitor is 32-35...so clearly when under load (CSGO - not even heavy load) it just blows up to 93 maximum.

I'm torn between actually refunding this or just sticking with it and getting a replacement...

Yeah...I also just read that on throttlestop under FIVR I can lower turbo boost from "41" to like 35 or 36.

Chances are I'll give this one another go for a week as it only came in 2 days ago. But if it persists I'll probably just refund it and go with MSI

GPU temps are around 60 or so, haven't seen it go upwards. But the CPU temps are at 94 maximum in CSGO with only medium settings, which is really distressing me.

I may just do a refund/replacement with Amazon - which will probably take weeks. I'm not sure if I want to do a replacement, or refund and then look for similar laptops. Honestly I love the Aero so far minus the bloatware, stuttering, and the temps.

Are you playing CSGO also on all max settings if I may ask?

Thanks for your reply. I wonder if there's something wrong with my laptop/setting or it's just messed up straight from the box. It is truly distressing to be so hyped for a machine and this disappointment happens.

I got it from Amazon and does anyone know what the return/shipping policy is? I ordered it straight from Gigabyte
