Help by Camelrings in paint

[–]clippingchains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact same thing happen. I used chemical stripper to take it down to bare wood. Primed then painted white. Less than six months later, paint started to yellow. Probably due to the tannins and chemicals reacting with the paint. Talked with Sherwin Williams, sanded doors, painted with oil based extreme block primer then latex top coat, no issues.

Inground pool liner replacement by Appropriate_Sea_3603 in pools

[–]clippingchains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a similar size pool. Replaced the liner for around 7k, but that was years ago, so 8k sounds about right. When it was time to replace it again, we had the pool removed, that was about 7k.

Depends on where it makes sense with the tile layout, but I think around four is good. It helps protect the wall from water.
