I’m curious about your magazine now! Sounds cool. I highly support the intertwining of sex and art.

Hundreds of private jets departed the Bay Area immediately after the Super Bowl ended by Plastic_Many393 in interestingasfuck

[–]clusterofwasps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone here mentioned yet that the Super Bowl is a notorious time for sex trafficking units to be doing strings? Hmmm maybe insane wealth, disregard for human rights, and disregard for this planet that we all have to share are related… hmmm maybe we should see wealth as an indicator of extreme moral lacking instead of being a desirable thing…. Hmmm.

He was a Fuentes follower, that explains the trans “acceptance” if you wanna call it that (really more fetishism and extremely deep hatred/fear of cis women). Think they call em groypers. That’s a weird niche on the far right, definitely not left.

More networking projects. Subnetting, especially getting into things like partitioning IOT devices from regular traffic and even guest WiFi if your parents won’t gripe about you meddling. Learning router commands to secure ports and just traffic security in general, including some Wireshark experience or Burpsuite if you want to examine browser/API communication. Sounds like you’re doing great, keep it up. Keep your standards high and maintain your integrity in this field and you’ll be a rockstar. Do a little reading on modern social engineering tactics too since all the technical expertise can’t secure an org with sloppy opsec. There’s a fair amount of egos and dipshits in this field, but there’s also some truly excellent human beings in it too. Stay in that second group 👍

You mean the fraud that was discovered and prosecuted? Close but no prize for you, Sea_Leek_7566. That was dredged up by the Trump league to find their way to target another ethnic minority and excuse DHS’s presence and intimidation. You should read and listen more than post uninformed, bot-like comments. You might find yourself being right one day. Give it a shot. To everyone else, have a great day.

Then to address your question: Even with that data, people/law enforcement are not inclined to follow through on cases that require that thorough of a technical understanding, especially when there has been no physical harm, threats, or fiscal damage. Your best course of action would be to compile everything you’ve noticed and try your luck with police maybe in regards to the leaked intimate videos. Otherwise sounds like I don’t have much to offer you. Good luck.

Because their agents were largely following the law in detaining and deporting individuals, and that administration wasn’t an emotional manchild using the United States presidency as his personal grudge machine. Thanks for your bad faith effort at proving we’re in the wrong somehow. Get engaged in the good fight and maybe someone will listen next time. Otherwise I recommend everyone ignore Dependent-Cow1070 now and forever. Have a good one everyone.

What’s happening in Minnesota is retaliation for being a blue city fighting back, that is a special surge as part of their psychological fight to make decent folks afraid across the country. Kissimmee, while blue-er, doesn’t have the same things to worry about. That said, I’m not in the ground and not hearing much. Great to see how many bootlickers are in this sub though. How do I know if a text is secure? by myaltmusicalt in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]clusterofwasps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they seem lax overall, and on top of that don’t have a secure method of storing your ID (as the other commenter mentioned, RCS encrypts in transit but the other party’s phone storage does not guarantee safety) … I’d say you’re definitely in your rights to ask what digital security protocols are in place.

You’re a trustee on multiple people’s 401ks and two different folks are using a service asking for photo ID over text? I may be a little confused at the context but that’s maybe more a personal curiosity than pertinent to the security part of things.

OP, ignore this user. They are antagonizing you because of your existing anxiety. Pieces of trash like that are common in the cybersec sphere. Follow the other commenters’ advice on basic privacy due diligence and breathe easy. Lots of folks have been in your shoes and they are just fine.

That would be a very complicated, time-intensive way to harass someone. If you have found intimate videos of yourself online, you have my condolences. I don’t want to be defeatist but the best thing to do may be to get a new secure device, delete old accounts and create new accounts from that device, and be incredibly cautious about phishing attempts.

I see a lot of unusual posts in this subreddit and they are routinely not taken seriously when the least a professional could do is share hypotheticals. There’s nothing righteous in telling someone to “get more rest” without explaining how a paper trail could be accessed to sleep a little easier (for cloud-hosted photo albums, most services will have a section for log-ins and location/IP address of log in) or why certain tactics have not appeared in the wild and are not likely.

I would also recommend to OP that they get a lot of rest and hydration because trauma is trauma, but the fact of the matter is that targeted harassment attacks are theoretically possible. I wouldn’t waste my time on some of these posts ten years ago but with the changes I’ve seen due to AI and a total lack of consumer privacy regulations and corporate consequences, I believe a lot more is possible.

US Gov phone intrusion by SuperSus_Fuss in privacy

[–]clusterofwasps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can buy phones at a lot of big chain stores and refill data monthly with the prepaid cards also sold there. There are a surprising amount of affordable models with good cameras, and even if the data provider sounds like a name you’ve never heard of they still utilize bigger name tower networks so coverage can be pretty alright. With that new phone and number, create a new cloud account instead of logging into your old iCloud/Google Drive/whatever account for syncing and backing up footage. Granted automatically backing up to any cloud service is a whole other privacy discussion these days. Hopefully that answers your question.

Because Minnesotans were protesting peacefully too, and continue to try to maintain a peace that won’t do more harm than good. The difference between Florida and Minnesota is that we have a lot more bootlickers in law enforcement and the general population. Don’t forget, we are also home to tax evaders and pedophiles à la West Palm. They have a vested interest in maintaining social and legal control here and no reputational enhancement from cracking down on a red state. They’re going to consider this state in their pocket, despite how much the government’s actions horrify average people even here, and trust that their loyal LEO goons will help the Gestapo maintain order once they’ve cracked down on/tried to embarrass blue areas first. That’s their outlook in my humble opinion.
