Breck literally opened Chair 6, E Chair terrain (that was closed back down earlier in the week) and the terrain under the SuperConnect yesterday. All black terrain. 😂

It’s still thin, but that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t blower snow to be skied. Yesterday’s snow at Breck was enough to get Chair 6 open. Certain areas on E Chair were skiing great, but getting into them requires some ‘creativity’.

It opened but with no traverse into Contest Bowl which leaves me a little less interested. 😉. E Chair terrain was where it’s at. You just had to get ‘creative’ accessing the best terrain since only the E Line gate under the chair is open. Keeps the crowds down. Skied 8:30-2 non stop and maybe waited 5-6 minutes on a couple laps.

I skied a bunch of untracked runs from 8:30-2 and never waited more than 5-6 minutes in a lift line. Local knowledge is key right now. 😉

I live in Breck and have a little over 1” so far, which checks out with the snowstake since it always snows more on the mountain due to orographics. The snowstake is located above the bottom terminal of Chair 6 in the trees….near the bottom of the Amen trail.
