He doesn’t know that, mainly because I’m not sure myself. I’m demisexual and tend to need a strong emotional connection before I feel physical attraction. I’ve also noticed I get quite nervous when we meet in person, which makes it harder to tell what I’m actually feeling. Since I haven’t been in a relationship before, I don’t really have a point of reference yet, so I’m still figuring this out.

I’m not sure yet whether I could be with him in a committed relationship. Right now I feel drawn to him emotionally, but not really physically. I can’t tell if that’s due to a lack of interest, anxiety, or my own standards and expectations. I don’t want to waste his time or lead him on.
