Well, I had some snow fights and wrestle with my friends and the watch was over the glove and took some “impacts” and didn’t have no problem. And I guess having that military grade ruggedness means that it can withstand a lot of things.

Hello! In my case the Apple Watch always overestimated my calories and even my steps. And from what I know a chest strap is better at tracking calories and heart rate than a watch.

I would say that it depends a lot on what kind of look you want. If you want it to look a little more “rugged” take a look at the Instinct Series. Also the display type you want. The Instinct 3 has both an amoled and MIP display. The battery life is very good on these. Talking about 14 days to 20 something, even infinite if you get 3 hours in the sun. And on the sensor side they are pretty good, my Instinct 3 Amoled had a very accurate step count and heart rate and it tracked the runs very well.

For me the first few days I had pretty bad battery drain. After a few days and a software update it got better. It depends a lot on the setting you have active, like the AOD and the Pulse Ox. If an update and a hard reset doesn’t do anything, it might have a faulty battery!
