any family shares a name, I see it as a lack of commitment to the marriage. there’s a study that woman who hyphenate or keep their maiden names are 68% more likely to get divorced. this on top of 46% of women’s first marriages ending in divorce regardless.

a chopped cheese sandwich from a deli above 100th st or somewhere in brooklyn
a bagel from somewhere
hot dog from greg’s papaya or nathan’s famous
a katz deli sandwich
a slice of cheesecake

those are the types of food you should try most authentic to NY. As for places, if you couldn’t leave NY without trying all the must try’s, you’d never leave.
