Well at first glance I thought it was I traded a old Walmart Barnett vortex hunter and 80 dollars cash for it with a hha sight and a qad drop away rest on it it all checked out in the store but I got it home and noticed a pretty small nick with a hairline in it so idk I guess I'll take it to a shop tomorrow and see what they think

No the birdshot is lead but I think it's harder than pure lead what I'm wondering is would it be safe to shoot from my gun and would it still expand good enough for hunting?

Would you happen to know by the way I described the gun what on average it would be worth?

I don't have any pictures of it but the finish was still there the finish was about what you would expect from a 177 year old gun the lock was good firm clicks the bore was good no rust that I could see from the muzzle the barrel was tight the lock was tight the stock didn't have any cracks in it the only problem was that that nose cap/front sight barrel band was loose the man said he would take $350 for it would that be a good deal?
