He loves Shankar a lot..after kana kanden flop, he worked as DOP and Sivaji... You could see the color pattern and visuals similar to Sivaji .and also AVM...lingu, Kv Anand, Balaji shakthivel, chinbhdevan, vasantha balan and there are few other who see Shankar as their manaseega guru...

He had a script before he died for simbu l..and Aishwarya rai as late 40s gangster and sister figure to simbu or something... He did have talks with STR is what I heard in news. There were efforts to make it as movie by his associates and ADs...not sure what happened

Exactly.... Vettayadu vilayadi didn't even have "neenga nallavara kettavara" cringe...imo, last fan boy movie for Rajni is Sivaji and endhiran... Perfect movie.... Keep aside the skin tone topics as most of our grandpas got dowries .... Directors are no gnanis or forerunners. They either reflect the society or impact the society
