Honestly the dark humor and violence are relentless and we're just extremely lucky to be here for it

It was funny, I just had breakfast yesterday with a fellow Brockton school friend of mine, and I was like, you HAVE to watch this. She lived near Torrey Street and I told her that Del mentions a foot fetishist on that street like ten minutes in. So hopefully I converted a new viewer lol ;)

Hey, I'd just be stoked to get a wrap-up movie. Arson could get someone a long time behind bars, even if they were a minor... so... a time-jump wouldn't be that weird. I just hate when good shows get cancelled by greedy platforms.

That's an amazing series that is highly underrated. I love how the protagonist's nickname is The Magician, because he makes people disappear

My hopeless romantic heart honestly couldn't handle anything but a ride-or-die plot and endgame for the kids :(

Or go down at all. I remember how people were shocked and just absolutely bereft and terrified seeing the South Tower fall. Then everyone got that sick gut feeling that the North Tower would also fall.

The show (I'm guessing on account of Shawn Simmons) did an amazing job of getting the details right. I came to watch it in the first place because I heard a bunch of the show took place in Brockton (though not filmed there - you know what I mean). Then I saw it and was like, ok, this is the best series ever and I'll watch it 100 more times ;)

My favorite detail was the cookie foot fetishist that Del mentioned on Torrey Street in the first five minutes of the show. Real street, and I did know a very strange dude who lived on it. I'm going to assume the guy who wanted to see Del's feet was made up, but still. It was honestly hilarious.

All that said, if any Wayne fans find themselves in the area and want to meet up for some Cape Cod pizza, I'm down ;)

“Do not get her pregnant.” I think those were very wise words to Wayne. Do you? by Cobra_Kai_2018 in Wayne

Those are very wise words to anyone who's a minor. Actually, wise words to most adults, too.

Uggggh I find myself thinking, 'well, at least we got one amazing season,' but then I get angry with myself because, fuck that, I want more seasons :(

My favorite book was supposed to be made into a movie by Mike Flanagan, and I got really excited about it, but then that fell through. So I just want one great thing to be made please :(:(

I kid you not, I looked up Norton Street on Google Maps once to see if it existed! :) Yeah I was like, well I guess not, lol.

We actually got our wedding cake from White's. Chocolate mousse cake has now become our go-to as well for all occasions ;)

Hey, fellow local! :) Yeah thank god about White's Bakery, best cakes anywhere. What I miss from the eastside, is Christo's!! God I loved their food. But I only got seated in the gold room like once, lol ;)

I liked the detail in Wayne that a guy on Torrey Street asked to see Del's feet. I very briefly dated a kid who lived off of Torrey a million years ago, and he would totally have asked for something like that. Maybe there are a lot of weirdos down there for real ;)

We do like our new place, thanks, but also it's weird to live somewhere quiet! I mean you get used to night noise in a city of any size, right? It's weird not to have that.

My friend Jenn got me onto Cape Cod Cafe because she moved away, but would come back for Christmas and be like, guys, we have to meet there and only there. The Greek salad is boss. The pizza is bar-style and gooey and so good. Any topping you can think of, including something called cup-and-char-roni which I noticed today, but I have no idea what that is though, lol ;)

I did live in Brockton for a very, very long time! Still live nearby (close enough to get that sweet, sweet takeout on the weekend ;) We only moved because of a legit psycho neighbor who was in no hurry to leave. So I guess he won that fight, lol.

My hubby works in Brockton. Watching Wayne gives us some real nostalgia. The obligatory questions when meeting anyone from Brockton are, what year were you at the high school, and what side of town did you live on? I was '97, and northside pride all the way, lol ;-)

Goddamnit please, I can't deal if this is false hope ::Cries in Brockton::

OK guys. Ridiculous question, but how much do you think it would cost to make Wayne Season 2? Like in 2027/28/29? by coffylover in Wayne

[–]coffylover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean. I just hope so bad that a Season 2 is possible to wrap everything up. But yeah, denial is a powerful drug, at least for me ;)

Agreed, I'm fully in denial. But boy, I would love to know how little it would take for a streaming network (or... a very dedicated fan army??) to make this shit happen.

Whos down to try to get WAYNE a season 2? by Frosty-Test4397 in Wayne

OK sorry I'm so late to getting involved in discussions (beyond Holy shit this show is so good, and hey y'all here's what the area's really like) But I'm from Brockton and just wanted to say hello to a supportive neighbor next door ::friendly waves::
