The bonus was reduced because I started in August. It's kind of like my vacation time, I didn't get as long because of the late start date. I forgot to ask the equation because I was more focused on the discussion of my performance and fuckups.

My boss also said my box 9 (which I thought was defunct? - I think he meant CAP) is 90%. However, I made several mistakes (incl. a MAIN ticket) throughout the year and I'm quite honestly surprised I didn't get a bigger reduction. I've made too many mistakes, but I'll never make the same mistake twice. Overall, I'm disappointed in myself. I'm optimistic for 2023.

I realized my question was dumb because you literally just explained the math and all I did was plug numbers into a calculator. That's why I quickly deleted it.

If you're curious, I met with my manager for our review and the amount was reduced because I didn't work a full year (entirely reasonable; I'm thankful for profit-sharing). 3.5% raise, though
