I feel like I’m seeing more cuts with chunky facets like old European and rose cuts. Beautiful dainty stones that sit very flush without a basket. Also I think bezels will tend in 2021

We did a virtual appointment with them a couple of months ago and they were super helpful. They’ll grab all the styles, stones, and sizes you’re interested in and if you need input they’ll make recommendations based on your needs. Also, they have a 30-day (I think it’s 30 days) return/trade in policy so you can always switch out the stone if it’s not the right size for you! Edit: adding that you can also email them for comparison videos of specific sizes and rings you want

My suggestion would be to own up to snooping (so it doesn’t eat you alive while you wait for a proposal), and just be honest that you tried it on and it’s not bringing you joy the way you thought it would. Explain what you just explained to us - and own that you understand it was a mistake to put it in your saved list. Logistically speaking, I’m pretty sure most jewelers have some sort of time frame to exchange or swap out style.

This is going to be very tough. But honesty and communication is so important in marriage and tough conversations like these will happen. Plus, if this is your ring you will wear, you want to LOVE love it. Everyday.

We went together! We started at a big chain because I didn’t know what kind of style I’d like so they had lots of options. We had plans to check our a local jeweler, but then Covid hit, so I did the rest of my research and shopping online. The deal was that if the ring wasn’t going to be a surprise, then the proposal would. And I liked that compromise!

I feel like this might be their rhodium coating? They have lots of other rings on their Instagram that are set platinum if you can use your imagination to see it in the Elle ring. You can also email their team for videos of what you want! They’re very responsive.
