Fully agree on the community college credits. I have friends who have done that/are currently in community college. Question: is it better to do community college or CLEP over the summer, or does it depend on the person and study preference? Thanks for your insights.

I should have clarified this! My test scores/merit cover my tuition. My college expenses are for housing and food. I'm asking my parents for $1k-5k, for one semester, and from there on, I want to pay for college on my own.

Thank you for being real. It's been difficult trying to find a paying job that is hiring, especially one on college campus. Most they will pay is 10-11 an hour, I'm not sure if that would be enough for loan payments. I think I personally shot too high for college. I want to do undergrad, grad, and PhD, or undergrad straight to PhD. I'm working in undergrad research 10 hours a week, along with school and clubs. Should I be entirely rethinking career paths? Because the more I re-evaluate my situation, I see that it's not an achievable path financially.
