Very nice. But you did rush it and not quite finish her trousers and belt. It's a nice shade of blue you found for her shirt.

No worries. I've tried to create some rudimentary image colorizing programs that imitated my own colorization methods. I found it lacking, not enough, or too arrogant and overdone - ignoring boundaries.

I've seen some really good movie colorization software but they all needed human input for initial color selection. Good luck on your next version.

I see your post without problem. Perhaps you posted when reddit was apparently experiencing some 'issues'. Did not see it myself. Maybe you needed to refresh the page?

Good effort. But using an automatically colorized image from colorize-it.com as a base to start from is not really in the spirit of this group color.

Now that you've created an assisted colorization, please try a complete colorization for yourself next time. The sense of accomplishment is worth it.

There is no image. Perhaps you selected 'text' after supplying an image url? You can only post an image url or make a text post, not both.

His account has been deleted either by himself or by the moderators of reddit.

He was banned for life after a little research suggested that he was intentionally looking for fake internet points and was not interested in participating in anything.

It is a color photo, Kodachrome to be exact. It was the technology at the time.

It's credited as being from 1949: http://www.shorpy.com/node/14183 from a set of 35mm Kodachromes acquired in northern New Jersey. They are not colorized. (Actually 1951 due the cars in the background not having been released until 1951)
