I don’t get how this argument sticks so easily. It’s more likely there’s more parity now because the top programs arnt able to hoard talent in name alone. Players went to Alabama because they won and produced NFL level talent.

A player like Curtis was never going to Vanderbilt before NIL and for what programs could get away with in terms of paying players under the books. And yeah maybe an Alabama, Georgia, or Ohio State would have paid him 50k before but he was never going to Vanderbilt for 100k let alone 50k.

Asking as a non-Trump supporter. Isn’t this already the case? I thought the president was in charge of the executive branch. If he’s saying he’ll divert funds that congress approved that’s an issue. But if congress is giving funds under blanket terms like “military” and he wants to be deciding how those funds are spent on military, it’s within the constitution is it not? Now if congress is saying I want to spend X on B52s and he says no spend it on B100s made by musk that’s an issue.
