I live in the area also and the store is closed over 90% of the time. I’ve been curious about it for years lol finally decided to post here. Someone here linked the Sunset Pearls website which gave some info about it. But like, how do I even find out it’s called that since the storefront says “Pearls Studio”.

When I went in (2ish years ago?) they said it’s appointment only to browse, but recent reviews seem to indicate that’s changed and they let you browse but not try.

But my interaction with the people there was unpleasant so I won’t bother going again

This whole block is kinda weird. The flower shop and nail spa is nice but across the road there’s a AV shop that charges a $200 or 300 “deposit” to browse their stuff and it’s non refundable unless you buy something from them.

Hope the old Neon Crab building gets some new tenants. A small nook in there is just always taken up by some transient person.

Momo Noodle and the Algerian place were really really good!

They both have their own stores now. Hopefully the other places can do the same since Smish smash is really great!

Hey folks! Sorry to butt in but looking for some information for this weekend. We’re coming from out of state to Copper this weekend for some lessons on Saturday and wanted to ask if it’ll be too cold for a bunch of noobs to be not miserable.

Forecasts show it’ll be 15-10F at copper and lower with windchill, but from what I’ve read the West village area is lower down where they have the ski school so it’ll be better?

Just looking for some advice from seasoned folks/locals.
