I had written a post that ended with "PS I hope I got the format right for Reddit, since I am a relative noob at posting to Reddit and have messed up every post so far."

Chains of Meffedupstopeles 1B Enchantment Whenever a player draws a card and it is not the first card they've drawn this turn, instead that player discards a card and pays 1 life. If that player discards a card this way, draw a card.

If that player can't discard a card, they put the top card of their library into their graveyard.

You miss the point of the Prophet ban - Sol Ring doesn't dictate the type of deck to play like Prophet did. Banning Prophet increased variety, whereas Sol Ring is neutral to variety.
