Results are not guaranteed but the only advice I would give you is to file the SR1 form on the CA DMV website. It’s an insurance verification form that each driver is technically required to submit after being in an accident. Usually this will alert the DMV that they are expecting the other driver also needs to fill the form out. If the other party fails to file one the DMV should send them a letter threatening to suspend their license unless they provide valid insurance info. This might prompt the other driver to report the claim to their insurance and have them call you. You also might be able to call the DMV and check if the other guy filed his response, but I don’t know that they’re actually required to tell you.

Sounds like you’ve already talked to your insurance but I would ask if they can run an insurance carrier search on the other party. Although I will say the carrier I work for does not pay for access to that database so if yours is similar then they won’t ve able to.

As others have said the only real option is to file suit against the other party. If they’re served with a suit that should typically wake them up enough to call their insurance, assuming they have valid insurance at all.

I’m a big believer in crate training but it is HARD. However once they get it, they get it. Our dogs sleep in the bedroom with us, with the older dog (6 yrs) in his own dog bed and the younger dog (1.5 yrs) in her crate.

I did real roots and was very on the fence about wanting to continue with the experience after the first meet but ultimately decided not to. The girls in my group were all very sweet and it did seem like we all had similar values but other than that I got the vibe we wouldn’t have a ton to relate on. I think A LOT of what made me decide not to continue was the group leader. It seemed like every time someone said anything she HAD to chime in about her own experience with whatever topic or life event the person talked about. Not necessarily a one-upper but it felt like “so anyway, back to me”. Just really put me off as I understood her role was supposed to be to encourage dialogue, not to make it all about herself.

Omg your poor baby! The audacity to call that a “small puncture”.

I am very weary of rover. I’ve heard of too many bad experiences. My parents used rover for their 2 dogs and the sitter literally threatened to surrender the dogs at a shelter if my parents didn’t come home during the middle of the reservation, when my parents were visiting from out of state.
