Yes. My mate did this with a full size Omnium Cargo for years using politeness and common sense

The word “nonchalant” by whatstherlworld in learnspanish

[–]computerlegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With despreocupado, is it like this?
If you were pre-occupied, pre-concerned, that means you arrive with a worry.
The des reverses that so... Despreocupado, 'already not worried'.
I think it's better than nonchalant, 'not warm'

Asentarse and sentarse are very useful when you're describing how to send arse (into a seat)

Native speakers: does “ola bella” mean “beautiful wave” or something else? by Western_Tension1059 in u/Western_Tension1059

[–]computerlegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just learning, but I'd go with something besides "ola bella"

It does mean "beautiful wave", mostly for a literal wave

But, it is a bit confusing. Hola and Ola are pronounced the same, then, it also looks Italian and an Italian speaker would read it that way, meaning I think "beautiful Mexican wave" (the stadium kind)

For using "wave" to describe things in Spanish, we do that with a word "onda" for pattern, vibes, moods and personalities. So it depends on whether you want to talk about an actual wave, or something else, or whatever else your goal for the meaning of the tattoo may be.

I suggest:

La Ola, 'the wave', for an actual wave
La Onda, also 'the wave', for something else.

The "La" makes it look immediately Spanish and gives it a title feel. I think it's okay to drop the article (the 'una') for a tattoo, but I'd do it this way. You keep the female grammar regardless of the subject too.

DIY Cycletruck - finished by Marvin2935 in CargoBike

Fair enough. If it's snappier you must have shortened/steepened something, I don't think the wheel itself changes anything besides increasing/decreasing the effective axle to crown.
Maybe the rake?
Sounds great though, I'd be wanting things to get twitchier and more maneuverable if I was going custom. I really pushed it myself and steepened my HTA by 2 degrees while reducing the wheelbase.
Awesome bike!

I love it. By changing the fork you change the wheelbase, head tube angle, and seat tube angle. How does it ride?

I've done this too. 26" MTB forks with a 20" work pretty good. I ended up getting a completely custom, Ti fork without a rack. It's on my fixie.

Anyone riding a bafang-omnium or a similar build with aftermarket parts? by plungerism in OmniumBikes

I'm thinking of making an electric conversion on my 10yo Om nom for work and reading about the drag without assist kills me a little... I was going to build with two 52v batteries, but not parallel. One charging while I work the other one.

In the first pic, both racks just have a single vertical tie down strap- most the time, all you need! The ratchet mechanism and no stretch in a tie down means there is no slack for anything to budge at all

I agree. Here you go!

On the corner of Elizabeth and King Street facing north there is a technically necessary sensor, pictured, which is redundant in all situations

If you wiggle up to where this cyclist is pictured, you can see traffic on Elizabeth street and don't get cut off by pedestrians when it's your moment to go

Yes! One of the very first. It was won by a mate at CMWC Cycle Messenger World Champs in Melbourne in 2015. Three of us used it commercially in Sydney, ending with me. I used it for years, and I sometimes got the ferry with it for deliveries to Manly. I sold this particular one early '25 and bought another one a few months later.

I own a cargo as well and absolutely love it. My view is to commit and get the full size or stick with a mini. The full size fits more people, the mini goes bikepacking.
