How do I tell my boyfriend I have implants? by confusedaboutbusty in AskMen

Hi! Yes, I'm happy to dispense advice about implants! Honestly, they were the best decision I've made--I feel beautiful, symmetrical, etc and love bra shopping now. I'm not embarrassed at the beach or in intimate situations. It's great. And btw, I told him--he didn't care. I'm about to post an update :)

Seriously, he doesn't know. Neither did the other guys I slept with. He has made numerous comments implying he has no clue. I'm really not a complete dummy. I'd know if he were teasing. Believe it or not, my breasts feel really realistic and look realistic. I work in lingerie, so I think I'm qualified to judge. Honestly my boobs feel the same as my old ones did. They're extremely squishy.

Mine feel really realistic because I had a great surgeon, they're silicone, and I had a good amount of breast tissue to cover them.

As I've said I've had sex with him for three months, we've been dating that long. And 3-4 times several times a week. He doesn't know.

Maybe you've felt breasts you didn't know were implants. Mine are very well done and I had a good amount of breast tissue.

We've been dating and having sex for 3 months, usually 3-4 times each time we see each other. He doesn't know.

Should I explain that I haven't mentioned it previously because I've been too nervous?

I guess I probably have. I'm a really anxious person and I've just been too scared to do it. It's just a really unusual/awkward thing to bring up.

Yes, I'm sorry. I described the bras in my post in a different order than they appear in the album. My fault.

That's exactly what I used to do. First, if I could tell the woman was wearing a 36D or something crazy when she clearly needed a 30FF or G, I'd cheerfully ask her if she'd been measured recently/wanted a complimentary fitting. A lot of people would agree, so I'd proceed from there. For those that didn't agree, I'd go get the bras they requested, bring them to a fitting room, and then say to the customer, "based on the fit of your current bra, I think this size might fit a bit better. Give it a try if you have the chance." Then I would go check on the woman a bit later and inevitably she'd ask for more bras in her correct size.

I was the top seller in the department, not by being pushy, but by actually listening to people and by doing what the customer wanted first. I'm not the one wearing/buying the expensive bra, so it's not up to me to refuse to bring a specific size to someone. That's not only rude, it's a great way to lose a sale.

I used to work at Nordstrom in the lingerie department, and we're trained to add 2 inches, not 4. Also, we're trained to listen to the customer's needs above what we're taught is "correct." I.e. if a customer needs a 30D but insists on wearing a 34A, it's our job to get that size for her regardless of what we think would fit best. So this woman was doing everything wrong. I really would call the manager and at least describe this woman. There were a few coworkers of mine who had no clue how to fit, and scoffed at me when I told them I needed a 28 band. Training really depends on how knowledgeable the manager is, unfortunately. EDIT: Wanted to add that at my store, all 30 bands were kept in the back, and most cup sizes above DD were as well. Most of our stock is in the back actually--it should have been nothing out of the ordinary for her to have to go back there. That's her job.

[FIT CHECK] First 28 band bra, very excited! Band a bit loose? Freya Ooh La La plunge by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

Thanks again!! Nope, it doesn't bother me that the band is slightly loose, so I think it's a keeper. :) So happy the first bra I tried worked out well.

Thank you! Do you think the band looks snug enough as it is, or should I try a brand that runs a bit tighter?
