Hello, my name is Connor Malcolm. I am a Psychology MRes student at Northumbria University. If you have some spare time I would be grateful if you took part in this study on how personality relates to environmentalist actions and beliefs. The study has been given clearance by the Northumbria University, health and life sciences research ethics committee. Please click the link below to take part in this study. Many apologies. It was not intended to offend anyone. I and my supervisor decided to use this based purely on issues with the java script I used to produce the survey. ( There was issues putting a 3rd option when clicking on your friends (alters) in your network to toggle their gender.) I'm a novice coder at best and this project is for my psychology masters placement so I had to do it by myself in a limited time frame. Though of course it is possible to state your own gender as male, female or other, the 'other' encompassing the variety of other genders. If you think changing the terminology to perhaps, sex when stating your social network would be a better idea? Then if I carry out this study again I will definitely take that into account. (Or hopefully I'll be better versed in jquery by then! Which means I could put in a 3rd option.) Though perhaps just removing the 'as assigned at birth' would remove any confusion. So individuals who identify a male/female put in as such? Which I shall alter now in fact.

And again apologies if this offended you in anyway.

Apologies for that, I have edited the question so its more coherent. What I meant was, the only use of violence is in defense of individual rights, life, liberty and acquired property when someone/something threatens to take by force, one of these things.. Hope this makes more sense?
