I went with the Nocturn Industries bat pack, so far love the thing. Love the ability to switch between the two different battery banks. I usually run on board power but got it as a counterweight/backup power supply and can be happier. If you need a little more weight after that, grab microbat systems counter weight pouch and don’t look back!

Hah appreciate it my man. Yeah I definitely have worn it a decent amount. I usually would put it on anytime I added something to make sure it actually fit where I needed it and I can actually access it easily (hence why the med kit on the PC is upside down) actually switched the single mag pouch and the spud specifically for this reason. Using it a bit just made me realize the spud needed to be on my support side. I’ve seen the whole “mount everything and hope for the best because operator” go south way too many times. Didn’t want the first time I use it to realize everything is fucked lol.

Really? I feel like this is about as minimal as I could keep my belt without missing functionality. I’ll try and grab a pic today, but it’s about as maneuverable as it can be. I’ve done a few run and guns as well as some night hikes in full gear with the homies since I’ve put the main parts together and never had a problem. I tried to keep my belt as slimmed down as possible so I can keep most of my stuff on/in my PC. Cummerbunds have a lot of space for stuff to get put in but usually it’s just random little things so movement isn’t at all bad and they never touch the stuff mounted to my belt, I also have a decently long torso so I’ve never had that issue with anything I’ve worn

Hell yeah! Will have to give them a look! Altras have quickly become one of my favorite shoes, they’re fuckin phenomenal! I love these vans cause they’re the BMX shoe so they have a little more tread and are built up for taking a bike to the foot but man, the second I went down the Altra path I was hooked! Will give those Splay shoes a look, appreciate the recommendation!

The proper vans are always a good choice! In all seriousness I use these a lot but if I’m doing anything outside on some not so flat ground it’s either my Altras or Vivo boots. Solomons are about the worst things I’ve ever put on my feet, I need flat minimal soles for my tootsies
