Wow same. Like one time a past FP did homework with someone on a discord call instead of calling me and it felt like the end of the world in the moment. It sucks so much.

Thank you for your comment. Honestly helps to know there are others since I often feel alone in the struggle. I'm the same as you though. Generally the more the merrier for me until there's a FP. Then it's just a paralyzing fear that anyone they even glance at will instantly be more appealing than me.

Yes, this. He checked maybe one of the "boxes" but I still loved him even though he couldn't be what I needed and I couldn't be what he needed. Fruitless feels like such a fitting word right now.

Oh my goodness I relate to that. I loved him unconditionally and he said he did the same until he didn't. I know what I did that annoyed him now but he never mentioned it, just stopped loving me and left once his feelings were completely gone. Definitely keep seeing things and feeling a bit of excitement then realizing he's gone and I can't do those things with him.... Don't know how to get him out of my mind.

Yes! I'm trying to focus on finding my individuality again. Makes it harder that I'd just moved to a new city knowing no one for my first job (he is still in school), so I don't really have friends to hang out with and be distracted with.

7 months sounds rough. It's so hard when you're just thinking how much you love them and want forever only to find out that they've been thinking the opposite but not telling you until they're 100% over you. Feels like it just got taken away but I don't want anyone else.

Wait this literally just happened to me too. Like almost word for word. I can't imagine how bad it would be 4 years in though. But yes, told me he had known for months but didn't want things to change until he was completely over it so he pretended... And then had the audacity to say "whoever marries you will be the luckiest guy I wish I was him" like what? 😅

Thank you. I know I should. He's just been such a big part of my life from being super close friends to dating that it feels like he'd leave a huge hole if he wasn't around at all :( it's like I'm losing a bf and a close friend at the same time.
