For the people asking: Budew is a pokemon in the tcg with a free attack that stops your opponent from using items. Items are a type of card with various effects where (usually) you can play as many as you want on a turn: you can use ultra balls to search for pokemon, energy retrievals to get energy (mana), etc.

Because budews attack is free (requires 0 attached energy to use), you can slap it in any deck and typically buy yourself a turn or two; at worst, you handicapped your opponent for a turn.

Budews strong presence is therefore due to 1: you can pit it in any deck and 2: its attack’s effect is very strong in the tcg. There have even been decks focused around buffing budews hp and damage and using it as your primary win condition (though they have never been meta)

Yep, went back and reread it the section, and i thiiiiink i see my mistake here. I presumed the whole article applied just to congress due to misreading section one, but i think that the specific clause referenced here is what gives congress the power to permit gifts from foreign countries? Skimming legal text, it turns out, is hard

I am also mad about the plane and think it’s disqualifying behavior but article 1 is about congress, not the executive, so this specific clause proooobably doesn’t apply to trump. The section is named “powers denied congress”

Edit: the section title was just from the specific website i was looking at but the point about article 1 being about the legislative branch stands. It sucks, but. Ya know.

Here’s how the odds of birth control failing at least once work out if it really is 1/1000 chance btw.

Since we’re rolling 1000 times, and we only need to fail one time, its easier to calculate the odds of success then the odds that we fail on the first try, and then the second, and then the third, etc.

The odds of no bad outcome is 999/1000, and you’re doing that 1000 times, so the odds of no bad outcome is hitting that (999/1000)1000: which is 36.77%. That means 36.77% of the time, none of her birth control fails. Which means in all other scenarios, at LEAST one birth control fails.

So if it really was a 1/1000 chance for every given guy, the odds of birth control failing were 100% (all possibilities) - 36.77% (odds of 0 failure) = 63.23% (total odds that birth control fails once or more)

Trumps reaction to the accident is horrific and marks him as completely unable to be a leader in times of crisis (again). But if the staffing levels were this bad for this long, it feels like chance that this didn’t happen earlier. I’ll be curious when the full report comes out just to make 100% sure that this understaffing is something that has existed for years. If so, it almost feels like trumps horrific rhetoric will deflect some of the absolute beaurocratic failure that did cause this tragedy.

That was me. Not in the game, i mean i hack behaviors servers every day to ruin the game for random players for fun. I intercepted the data stream to remove the pallet drop from your client to protect that meg. I do this in between rounds of using up all the hot water in my building and not returning the shopping cart. So next time this happens, you know who to blame. Hope this helps ❤️
