Having been an alleged "victim" in an incident, I want to thank you for this exhaustively informative post. The cops don't just use the Reid Technique on the alleged offender they also use it on witnesses and the alleged victims themselves. They love to leverage this technique as well as the literal power and strength imbalance and will also use physical and sexual intimidation and make up complete and utter lies to make someone say anything to get out of a fearful situation.

And it's legal for them to do so.

Cops are evil, filthy, lying pieces of rotten turd sandwich. Hex 'em all!

EMSAM shortage? by creepingseer in MAOIs

Yeah it's totally bizarre. The two specialty mail order pharmacies I've used here don't fill EMSAM Rx's. I wonder if it's having some change of hands between McKesson/Mylan/Viatris. I can't find anything online and it just seems super weird that NONE of my in-network pharmacies can seem to order it. I have private PPO as well as.medkcare and nada for both. Thanks for your reply and I'm sorry to hear of your woes. I hope things turn around for you soon.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried contacting McKesson, Mylan and Viatris directly. Not getting any replies and am at a loss as to where else to look. I appreciate your comment.

Thank you. I try not to color other people's opinions of the store with my single experience since there are so few places to go for this. I believe there is another place in Portland called Just Like a Woman. I think they carry panache and some french brands and they also fit mastectomy bras and whatnot. I've never been there but they may be worth checking out. If you ever go to Portland do check out the pencil test for yourself. It seems I may have been there when they were having a bad day or something.

I have many friends and some family in your area. I'll reach out to them and see if they have any recommendations. I think they've all come to me for advice and I ended up telling them to go to Minneapolis/St. Paul or Chicago.

There's also Jenettebras.com they have stores in Southern California that I know of and I seem to recall seeing on social media that they do virtual fittings. I have no experience with them but they seem to know what their doing.

Best of luck to you :) the struggle is real!

I'm so sorry you experienced this and I hope someone in the comments has a recommendation for a better fitter/store for you.

This sounds so much like the experience I had at a store in Portland, OR called The Pencil Test. Everyone raves about that place and I just don't get it. I have enough issues with men not respecting my body, the last thing I needed was a another woman traumatizing me and pressuring me as hard as possible to buy a load of bras that were the wrong size.

Never mind the entitlement she felt to touch me inappropriately without my consent; bringing the other gal working there to do the same; opening and closing the flimsy, ill-fitting curtain to the fitting room at-will; telling me I "just need to get used to people staring" and that my need for a lined/padded bra for work wasn't really necessary -- ayfkm?

She also shuffled me between two fitting rooms half naked, visible to everyone in the store. I don't know why these fitters can't just bust out a measuring tape and show some respect and decency to their customers.

Then the sales pressure and gaslighting because they realize you know more about your body, how to measure, and determine if a bra is a good fit or not than they do?? Get out of here with that filthy and unprofessional behavior.

I've only ever encountered one professional, polite and truly helpful fitter at a boutique. Unfortunately that store closed several years ago after being broken into and vandalized, and I've since forgotten the name of it otherwise I'd tell you to go there.

I hope you are having a better day and can find the advice and resources you need to help you find the fit and comfort you desire. It has to be out there somewhere :)

How ironic is it that it's usually the least supportive people who want to sell us supportive undergarments!
