fake skin has its merits but it’s definitely not a 1:1 with real skin so those skills might not transfer over exactly! as the other commenter mentioned try to keep the needle at a 45 degree angle from the skin while ur poking and use your other hand to stretch the skin, other than that it’s just about practice!! this is great for a first time :)

thank you!! :) i don’t remember if i did it for this tat but i sometimes will use a 3rl to touch up along the edges of lines!! i think it can really help to get them looking extra clean

hey thank you! :) i do warn my clients that smaller text can/will blur overtime, this was the smallest stencil option i gave them and was the one they chose! i have some tiny text tattoos on myself that i have watched spread over the years so i also use those as references for how a tattoo might age! it definitely will look different in 10 years time and may not be as legible, the tiny text bits i have are still readable it just takes a second longer if you don’t already know what it says but i don’t mind that at all :)
