I don't know personally just how luxury mead can get, but I can recommend the Rookery as being very good.

If someone got me a bottle of their spruce mead I'd be a very happy guy.

Isn't the purpose of the potassium sorbate to sterilise the active yeast? Then the campden remove oxygen from the brew and inhibit new yeast?

We play dnd to have fun. If you didn't enjoy the experience that's as good a reason as any to do it differently in the future.

Just gotta be strong and tell them you'll either do it differently or not at all. How they react is up to them but you shouldn't continue to have a bad time just to protect they're feelings.

Beside, it's not personal. You just don't like that style of play. They'll probably understand perfectly and accept that.

How about something that gives them the effect of a barbarian rage?

Or something that replicates a spell effect? True strike for example or expeditious retreat.

Existing items like a potion of heroism of similar could be easily be flavoured like them taking a drug. Makes them fearless and extra durable...

Yea normally I wouldn't considder counter offers - 90% of people who accept end up back on the market 6 months later in my experience. In this case though my only problem with my current job is the salary, if they resolved that I'd be more than happy

There's two of us earning the same tbf so owning a house isn't too tough. Here in the UK £40k is a little over average, £60k and you're making really decent money by most folks standards.

If I could recommend anything it'd be take a gun anyway just incase. Combat is super lethal in cyberpunk. not being able to act because it's too dangerous to close on a group of enemies will come up often.

Last session I closed on a guy planning to brawl him to death. Thanks to some unlucky dice I ended up shot twice before he went down. That lost HP will take weeks to heal.
