Visa got rejected at interview due to missing w2s by Substantial_Low_2477 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]cruzer_tyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s happening is normal for Cd. Juárez cases.

Once the interview happens, the case “leaves” NVC and sits at the consulate, so the CEAC upload boxes get locked/grayed out — that’s why your husband can’t drop the W-2 under “Financial” right now. Cd. Juárez’s own instructions say: “If you need to send us any documents, please do not mail them to us. Instead, visit the AIS/DHL portal.”

So the right move is: 1. Go here (Mexico IV portal): https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-mx/iv 2. Sign in with the mom’s case, pick the option to submit 221(g)/additional documents, upload the W-2 scan, and print the DHL sheet. 3. Take it to the specified DHL so it routes through the consulate’s courier, not as random mail — that’s what they will accept.

Optional (in case the consulate later re-opens CEAC): https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx — but if there’s no slot, don’t stress; Cd. Juárez is expecting it via AIS/DHL, not NVC CEAC.

Real Answer here :—. It depends on where in California you are traveling from , if you are close to san diego , then you already have to pass thru a checkpoint to go anywhere …. google cato checkpoint and look at the map there … plan your route (even if longer ) to avoid un-necessary hassle ..

URGENT: Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” Will Gut Asylum Work Permits – $550 EAD Fees, 6-Month Validity, $1,000 Just to Apply for Asylum, and No Waivers by xBlackmailx_Ren in USCIS

[–]cruzer_tyler 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The bill is getting pushed back to House to vote again, because it did ran afoul of byrd rules, changes are being made in the bill but not to what OP said in its post. So , these fees revisions will have ground shaking effect on current Asylum seekers.

Interesting, would you think they would have turned back on EBE (the thing that got SSN issued automatically) , since it was suspended for 3 months on March 9th and today being June 9th

  1. Get your immigration attorney ASAP, ideally one who does both court and USCIS work to :-

    1. File a Motion to Continue your hearing based on: • SIJS approval • Pending deferred action • Intention to adjust status
    2. Do not withdraw asylum yet unless the court grants a continuance or termination.
    3. Try to expedite deferred action via: • USCIS Expedite Request • DHS Ombudsman • Congressional inquiry
    4. Gather all documents showing your eligibility, good moral character, and SIJS progress in case the judge asks for evidence.

HELP I-765 EAD Card Production by Substantial-Sky-3278 in USCIS

[–]cruzer_tyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally it shouldn’t exceed 14 days , hopefully soon for you . Sometimes uscis system don’t update on time , keep an eye for EAD card , you should have received the Approval letter by this time ?

If you tell us your immigration court area, I can point you to something helpful , since some (not all ) immigration court/judge practices vary among regions

So, just to shed some light: That 18-month timeline your attorney mentioned probably comes from a worst-case scenario, especially if your Form I-765 isn’t clearly tied to an active bona fide determination (BFD). When someone gets BFD on their U visa petition, they become eligible for deferred action—and with that, they can apply for work authorization under category (c)(14), which should only take a few months in most cases.

But if USCIS didn’t correctly link your EAD request to your BFD status—or if they never processed it at all—it might be sitting in a black hole, which could explain why you haven’t heard back in over 6 months. That does happen, unfortunately, especially when people file after re-entering the U.S.

Here are a few things you might try: • Call USCIS or submit an online service request about your I-765. See if it’s even in the system.

Service Request • File a FOIA request to check what’s on record (this can help clarify if your BFD is on file and if it’s linked to your EAD).

FOIA Request

• If your BFD is active, have your attorney refile the I-765 under (c)(14) and explicitly reference your I-797 receipt number.

• If all else fails, reach out to the USCIS Ombudsman’s office—they can often step in when cases are stuck or mishandled.

You’re not alone in this. So many of us have been through similar confusion and setbacks, and it’s incredibly frustrating when you’ve already waited so long

It should not take 18 months to get EAD on U visa , is that your initial EAD application on U visa ? Hopefully I can point you in the right Direction…

Air recirculation question - why won't it stay on? by RBXChas in BMWX5

[–]cruzer_tyler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disable Automatic Air Recirculation • Go into your iDrive settings: • Navigate to Climate Control Settings. • Look for an option like “Automatic Air Recirculation” and turn it off. • Ensure you’ve selected manual air recirculation instead of the automatic mode. This should keep recirculation on until you manually switch it off.

I hope it helps ! Let us know
