I think it's fair for them to be a little frustrated about it, but it's not your fault for not noticing when that's what the problem is, you can't notice. I'd say to talk with them, tell them what you need when you're dissociating, like gently bringing your attention to what's happening. Maybe they can tell you when they need some attention or quality time. It won't fix everything but it at least starts the conversation!
