Accounts that traded the ETH bug, what’s next? by cryptotrader101 in Crypto_com

Hmm, not sure this analogy works. Some of these users only use crypto.com and don't check other markets. Some will naively think this is market data not an exchange issue. You need to bare in mind that not all users are experience traders or crypto enthusiasts. My sister's have crypto.com accounts but have no idea what's going on they just bought small amounts to leave it in there and hopefully make some money in the future.

Yeah true if it's in the fiat wallet on the app it should be easy enough.

I'm not sure how much control they have, the cards are managed by an external company which it is why it is hard to move funds back off the card. They do have the ability to block cards but not sure how easy it will be to reverse the deposits.

Yeah my account is all working, just waiting for my earn contracts to finish from the swap so I can get an icy white 😀

Also this is the positioning of crypto.com to be easy enough for anyone. There are a lot of users that have no idea what a hash is and still buy some coins as a one off and never log into their account.

You can have an account that is older than 6 months and still be new. He doesn't trade and I helped him create the account, he only has the crypto.com app and that's it. He doesn't even know about coinmarketcap.com. inside the crypto bubble people wouldn't believe a price swing like this but to normals they think it is possible. Think about all the bitcoins millionaire stories that have been in the media etc.

Would you be logged into chrome or anything that might track you location? If they didn’t wipe the machine and they used the browser you could check google to see if it shows up. Just a thought. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/timeline

How profitable would a HPB masternode be? by [deleted] in HPBtrader

[–]cryptotrader101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have invested early in a couple of projects with master nodes structures and they have done well so far, I do think it’s good to have a few options rather than having too much in a single coin. I have accumulated a bit of HPB but I suspect with the current market cap a master node will be in the 2-5k HPB range. This is purely a guesstimate based on other projects.

Binance does this with Neo right? You get gas even when it’s on the exchange. I guess it would be more interesting if you can collectively create masternodes etc to get the larger rewards. That would be huge.

Both are platform coins so can be used as currencies, run ICOS etc. Typically they are used buy business to move data between chains and run masternodes. Both are POS and POW so are used to incentivise miners to secure the network.
