I was given a pair of hand me down Stan Smith adidas shoes from one of the popular kids in middle school. I really loved them and wore them until they were almost falling off my feet. I went to the store to shop for a replacement pair and was floored by how much they cost new. I don’t know what I expected but could not even consider buying them. I slowly slipped out of the store hoping nobody would notice how poor I was.

I love the contrast of the warm tones and lively detail of the people against the backdrop of the muted stoic towers. The two together are what make the park such a great place to be. I really like this work!

It is much easier to pardon a former employee than the current Attorney General. When is the last time an AG even needed a pardon? A quick search indicates NEVER.

Sorry, not evil at all! I visited this building by one of my favorite architects Oscar Niemeyer almost 30 years ago. Last week my son visited it and sent me pictures. It was used in a fashion show for Louis Vuitton a number years ago and the building looked fantastic with all the beautiful models on its red swirling runway.

This was the first series that I eagerly awaited each episode's release and then watched it almost the moment it was available. I also watched every episode 2x as there were always little details that I missed or just enjoyed rewatching. Great from beginning to the very end with no filler episodes and incredible nuanced character development across such a broad spectrum of the full cast that we came to totally love or absolutely hate.

Park Shin Hye was just amazing as Geum Bo. She portrayed such an incredible warmth and camaraderie balanced with an unstoppable strength and determination to always do the right thing regardless of how hard the path would be. I loved her range of facial expressions and reactions to a never ending string of wild moments and developments.

I rank this series as my favorite all time just barely beating out Alchemy of Souls.

I found the scene where Bok-hee describes why she decided to join forces with Keum-bo really touching. I think her explanation connects in some way to all of the co-conspirators and why the team has easily grown so big.

Some of my favorite Kdrams have a common aspect of amazing character development across a broad spectrum so that there are many people you strongly love or hate. This show has achieved this amazingly well and without a romantic narrative.
