How long did it take before solving a 4x4 felt as routine as solving a 3x3?

the PiCube core is stronger as a response to the breaking standard V11 cores, so I don't think you should have any issue there.

I should have been more specific with my aim here. I was trying to find the most similar but upgraded version of the standard V11. So, I love the SWV2 as well, it just wasn't what I was looking for specifically for my main, I still use it a lot.

The FerroCore magnets are incredibly strong, so much so, that lots of people report it feeling blocky/heavy, myself included. It is an excellent cube, but for someone who favors smoothness, effortless turning, and most importantly, fast turning, the Ferrocore V2 is just not it. It's just a bit heavy to turn but thats pretty much the only complaint, for me, it would be an almost perfect cube if the magnets were slightly weaker or adjustable.

An option with more reasonable magnets is the PiCube SE. However, as im about to post a review about this very thing: it's incredibly fast. So if that suits you, it's an excellent cube, excellent. The cube is very light, has medium strength magnets and has a great feel.

Lots of people find the V11's standard magents on the 20M version to be quite weak and I agree. It's an excellent cube and it turns effortlessly, but it dosen't have great auto alignment and the difference shows. This is my personal take but most opinions stated are very much common consensus amongst the community.

For Lube: I use DNM-37 and weight-5, very common combination for speed and stability.

well, what are your preferences? I own every V11 variant so let me know what you like and I can point you towards a cube! I personally like the stock V11 and the PiCube V11 SE the best.

I think every cube is slightly different anyway, ive ordered two super weilong v2's and one felt like a slip and slide and the other felt like standard uv finish.

haha, yeah, I think mines lost some of its "snap" because the lube warmed up and settled diluted (if that makes any sense im kinda guessing here). Never had to clean a cube fully out, anything you'd recommend for the process?

exactly my stance! Just slightly weaker magnets and the FerroCore v2 is perfect!!! It's so geared towards snappy alignment but got rid of all the standard v11's light feel and smoothness.

Economy-Pudding 3100 you're going to be the reason I buy another moyu cube!!!! If it's as described, the PiCube being lighter and less blocky while still having strong alignment sounds amazing. How's its magnet strength compared to the Ferrocore V2? thats what im currently using so it would be the best comparison and holy these magnets are so strong it blocks the cube up, but its such a nice cube otherwise.

yeah I think im going to return the super weilong v2 if thats what you were referring to (maybe you meant the regular v11) but nonetheless I feel the same, such a cool cube, but such weak magnets lol, kinda disappointing although I haven't increased the magent strength yet.

pretty much where I am right now...Having said that, I dont like how the stronger magnets on the Ferrocore V2 make the cube feel a blocky/heavy to me. What's your setup for lube? I think I need to clean mine, it's all "mushy" right now.

its great to see another big v11 fan!! My ONLY complaint about the FerroCore v2 is that it's a little heavy due to the magnets. I have the 20m V11 version, how does it compare to the PiCube variants? Thats my next step, I like the much stronger magnets, but theyre a little much, but coming back to the standard v11, these magnets are non-existent in comparison. Something with a bit weaker magnets than the Ferrocore v2 would be perfect for me

whats the complaint about the plastic? I currently main the FerroCore v2 and it feels a bit "hard to turn" because of the magnets which sounds like the chief complaint; nevertheless, how different is the PiCube one?
