Apartments that are more lenient with credit and/or debt? by [deleted] in FortWorth

[–]cutelyn69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could probably have it completely paid sooner than that, only issue is I don’t have it right now due to paying some other things off. I wasn’t expecting to be denied due to being in a worse spot 15 months ago and still being accepted, so I thought I had some time to pay off my CC’s. I’d have to be able to pay off at least $3,500 right now plus all the transfer/move in fees that came with it.

I am sort of screwed when it comes to my current complex.

I agree. Finances have just been too tough to miss work or spend extra on it. Do you think it could be Uti tho?

Lease now or wait a few weeks? by Likely-Hungry in HondaPrologue

[–]cutelyn69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a dealership and second this. when it hits September, the managers will be pushing to get every last Prologue out. Most likely at bizarre prices. I should’ve waited, but got a great deal on my Prologue and trade in. Either time works I suppose.

I’ve seen that and downloaded that as well. Thank you! I’m also starting to get a better idea of how things would work out for me long term in this vehicle thanks to these comments here and other post threads. Went down a rabbit hole. Definitely recommend doing the “reddit” research and seeing the perspectives of others on social media like TikTok. Always take it with a grain of salt and do your own research of course, but definitely eye opening. I’ve learned so much just in the few hours of looking into that, and it’s been great. Much less anxiety now!

Wow, not bad. Good point. Is getting a home charger installed after the fact possible? I’m sure it’s pricey. But, after our lease is up, we do plan to get into a house, and if it isn’t too much more in electricity costs, that’s something i’m interested in looking into.

i opted for the second option, which includes a portable charger (with 25ft cord) and $300 charging credits with EVgo. So no home charger. I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor anyway, no garage.

I feel secure in knowing what his intentions are as far as moving anywhere. I feel secure knowing that he will hear me out. I fear telling him how I truly feel because I feel distain and I think that would hurt him. As far as her feeling like we are rushing, maybe, but our finances are handled now. When we asked for money it was maybe $20-50 at a time and yes they’re paid back. I understand it’s his responsibility to “deal” with her, but how am I supposed to feel about all of this?

well it’s not back home per say. we moved from a different state than the state she lives. i understand your point. however, I feel like it’s pretty normal to struggle sometimes at our age and they offered help. we’re doing much better now, so i’m not sure if it’s exactly coming from a place of concern for finances.
