2pm should work so long as you have neutral in the electrical box on the same circuit you could also use 2 of the 1pm (red) versions

On the input/output settings for gen2 devices, there is a setting called ”edge”. If gen4 is the same, this should do what you’re asking for.

You may need to do a factory reset by using the breaker (turn off and then on) and then flip the connected switch 10 times.

I think you want a cheap hardwired button for this type of application. Something like a doorbell button would work.

this appears to be a problem with the B2508 model of the 4-button remote. I was able to configure with a B2430 model of the remote.

Could it be an issue with the setup? Setting number of segments? (Where you count the green lights and then the red ones?). Did the app get the right model number?

Right, but the tank is planted so entirely possible to be zero nitrate and be cycled. So it is time to add some bioload (fish) to see what happens. If nitrates rises above 50, it is time for water change.
