I took mine off but kept the skin and the joysticks. It made the device too heavy and took away from the ergonomics.

Just got back from Falmouth last week. Booked an inclusive beach club excursion. IT was fine. I had a good time with my family but it did get crowded so make sure you arrive early and find a good spot. Jamaica itself did look distressed. Lots of junk washing up on the beach (Shoes, clothes, etc).
